Abstracts and workshop proposals
The call for papers for the MEWE-11 conference was launched on September 1, 2024. The deadline for submission of abstracts for podium or poster presentations and workshops is December 15, 2024 (deadline). Please review the specifications for each format before submitting. We look forward to providing an exciting platform for you to share your latest research with the MEWE community.
UPDATE: The deadline for submitting abstracts for podium or poster presentations has been extended to January 10th, 2025. The review of abstracts submitted before December 15, 2024, will begin immediately and any abstracts submitted between December 16, 2024 and January 10, 2025 will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Abstracts
Abstracts should be limited to 250 words (not including title, author names and affiliations, and references), and one figure with a 50-word or less figure legend for a maximum of two pages [Font size – Times New Roman – 11 or Arial 10]. Acceptable document formats are .doc, .docx, and .pdf. You will be requested to select your presentation preference (podium or poster) and up to three session themes aligned with your research. When you are ready to submit your abstract, please click on “SUBMIT ABSTRACT” button below.
Workshop proposals
Workshop proposals should be limited to 1000 words (not including title and co-organizer names and affiliations) [Font size – Times NewRoman – 11 or Arial 10]. Proposals should identify workshop format (i.e., Lecture, Group Pods, etc) and include a list of audio-visual, materials request for the workshop. Acceptable document formats are .doc, .docx, and .pdf. For details on how to submit your workshop proposal, please scroll below to section titled “How to submit your abstract or proposal”. When you are ready to submit your abstract, please click on “SUBMIT PROPOSAL” button below.

How to submit abstract or proposal
- Click on the submit abstract or proposal button
Your browser will navigate to Georgia Tech’s “InfoReady” system that is being used to manage the submission process (see left panel for example of the InfoReady Landing page). - Click on the “Register” button
If you are not affiliated with Georgia Tech, please click the “Register” button (bottom right – blue button). Once you click on the “Register” button, a pop-up will emerge to allow you to register. - Create account
Fill in your details and as soon as you create your account, the browser will automatically navigate to the appropriate submission page.
